The dog appeared only for limited time on the platform and original one restored, however as of now we can still see the doge coin logo\/shiba inu image still on the site at many different folds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By way of explaining the Doge logo change on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\" rel=\"nofollow\">Twitter<\/a>, Musk, currently the world\u2019s second-richest person, posted a tweet Monday that said, \u201c<strong>As promised<\/strong>\u201d \u2014 with a screenshot of a tweet he had in March 2022 with a Twitter user @<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WSBCHAlRMAN\" rel=\"nofollow\">WSBChairman<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">As promised <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Jc1TnAqxAV\">pic.twitter.com\/Jc1TnAqxAV<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1642976364080041984?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 3, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Doge Coin Price Hike<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musk, who bought Twitter last fall in a <a href=\"https:\/\/mobilemall.co\/blog\/elon-must-twitter-deal-might-be-cancelled-as-he-pulls-out-44-billion\/\">$44 billion deal<\/a>, is a well-known superfan of the Doge meme and he has promoted Dogecoin both on Twitter and during his appearance last year hosting \u201cSaturday Night Live.\u201d Dogecoin spiked more than 30% on Monday after <a href=\"https:\/\/g.co\/kgs\/Pkfzpj\" rel=\"nofollow\">Twitter CEO Elon Musk<\/a> replaced the blue bird on his company\u2019s website with an image of a shiba inu, the digital coin\u2019s logo. It is not clear whether the logo change is permanent or just for fun by the Elon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mobilemall.co\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Dogoe-Price-Hike-1024x492.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5652\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Elon Must is already facing a lawsuit in Federal Court<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CEO of Tesla, Twitter and SpaceX Elon Musk is currently facing a $258 billion class-action lawsuit in federal court. The lawsuit accuses Musk of running a pyramid scheme by promoting the cryptocurrency dogecoin. Musk often voiced his support for the coin and was even nicknamed &#8220;The Dogefather. On Friday, attorneys for Twitter and Musk asked a federal judge to toss out a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/digital-assets\/2023\/04\/02\/a-legitimate-cryptocurrency-dogecoin-price-suddenly-soars-after-elon-musk-hits-back-at-258-billion-lawsuit\/\">$258 billion lawsuit from 2022<\/a> that accused the billionaire of manipulating dogecoin\u2019s price and driving it up over 36,000%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/wmN5WxUhfQ\">pic.twitter.com\/wmN5WxUhfQ<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1642962756906418176?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 3, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Musk started manipulating the price of dogecoin years ago. He periodically tweets about the token, which was created as a joke in 2013, predictably causing volatility each time. <em><strong>According to CoinMarketCap.com, dogecoin is the eighth-most valuable cryptocurrency, with a market cap of over $13 billion<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is not meant to be a joke: In June 2022, Musk was on the receiving end of a lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York accusing him of engaging in racketeering by promoting Dogecoin. Musk\u2019s legal team filed a motion on Friday, March 31, to have the lawsuit dismissed. The timing of Twitter\u2019s icon change to the Doge suggests that Musk is trolling the litigants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced that they have added support for dogecoin payments on their platform. This caused the price of dogecoin to spike by about 30%. Tesla still accepts dogecoin as payment for some merchandise. &#8220;We have not sold any of our dogecoin,&#8221; Musk said on an earnings call last year. &#8220;We still have it.&#8221; Musk has indicated that he personally holds dogecoin.
