Eight thousand milliamp-hours. For all three phones. That’s the claim making rounds again about Honor’s Magic9 lineup, this time from tipster Smart Pikachu — and it lines up with something that surfaced back in March pointing at the same figure, at least for the vanilla Magic9.
To put that in perspective, last year’s Magic8 launched with a 7,000mAh cell, and the Magic8 Pro RSR pushed it to 7,200mAh. So this would be a meaningful jump, not just a spec-sheet tweak.

Battery capacity isn’t the only thing being thrown around. The Magic9 trio is also reportedly getting 1.5K resolution OLED panels, 200MP main cameras with image stabilization, and ARRI video capabilities — the same professional cinema partnership Honor has been leaning into with recent flagships.
Honor has historically launched its Magic series in October, which means there’s still a decent runway for more leaks before anything gets confirmed. Two sources now pointing at 8,000mAh does give this particular rumor a bit more weight than a single tipster drop, but until Honor says something officially, treat it accordingly.
