OnePlus has fixed the date for its next gaming phones. The Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro go on stage in China on October 29, and pre-orders have already opened on the official Oppo online store there.
OnePlus Confirmed Two Phones And Two Different Chips
The lineup has two models this time, and the company split them by processor:
- Ace 7: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V series, a slightly toned-down version of Qualcomm’s top chip
- Ace 7 Pro: the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the chip already inside the OnePlus 15
So buyers who care about raw speed will want the Pro, while the regular Ace 7 should land at a lower price with most of the performance still intact.
Both Phones Get A Fan Built Inside
OnePlus says the two models carry its Wind-Chaser Gaming engine along with a built-in cooling fan that uses a dual-airflow design, pushing hot air out through the sides of the frame. Last year’s Ace 6 relied on a vapour chamber alone, so a moving fan inside the body is new for this series. How loud it gets during a long session of gaming, and how well it handles dust after a year in a pocket, are questions reviewers will have to answer.
Leaks Point To A Big Battery And A 185Hz Screen
Leaked specs fill in the rest, though OnePlus hasn’t confirmed any of these yet:
- 9,000mAh battery
- 6.78-inch OLED display at 185Hz, with a 1.5K resolution
- 200MP main camera
- A 50MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x zoom, reportedly on the Pro only
You May See These Phones Outside China Under Another Name

Ace phones usually stay in China, but their hardware often turns up abroad with a different badge. Leaks for the OnePlus 16R in India match these specs closely, so a rebranded Ace 7 for international buyers looks likely. Prices for China should arrive at the launch event next week.
