Oppo Find X10 Comes To India On October 22

Oppo India has put a date on it. The Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max launch in India on October 22, one day after the global event on October 21, which is being held in Mallorca. The confirmation came through a post on Oppo India’s X account, after a few weeks of tipsters disagreeing over whether it would be the 22nd or the 28th.

That’s earlier than Oppo managed last year. The Find X9 series reached India in mid-November, well after its October unveiling, so buyers this time get the phones roughly three weeks sooner and just after Dussehra rather than after Diwali.

Only Two Of The Three Phones Are Coming

China got three models last month. India and the global markets are getting two of them.

  • Find X10: two 200MP rear cameras, MediaTek Dimensity 9600M
  • Find X10 Pro Max: three 200MP rear cameras, MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro

The Find X10 E stays in China. Oppo hasn’t said why, though the E model sits lower in the range and India already has the Reno line covering that price bracket.

Both phones that are making the trip carry an 8,000mAh battery. The Pro Max is the first flagship to put three 200MP sensors on one camera bar, covering the main, periscope telephoto and ultrawide positions.

What The Indian Prices Are Expected To Be

Oppo hasn’t announced any. Tipster Yogesh Brar, whose earlier leaks on this series have mostly held up, put the Find X10 at around Rs 90,000 (about $940) and the Pro Max near Rs 1,55,000 (about $1,620). If those numbers are close, the Pro Max would sit just under where the Find X9 Ultra was priced in India.

Bank offers and pre-booking deals usually change the final figure on launch day, so the price on the box and the price people actually pay may not be the same number on October 22.
