Samsung Galaxy M13 Officially Announced But Not Available For Sale Yet

Samsung has quietly revealed a new entry-level smartphone called the Galaxy M13. It’s not part of the popular A series. Instead, it’s part of the more complicated and less defined M family—the Samsung Galaxy.

The first digit suggests that this basic smartphone should be pretty affordable. However, I cannot comment as Samsung has yet to reveal a price. The M13 will be available in Europe, at the most.

The Exynos850 chipset is at the helm of the phone, with a 6.6-inch FHD+ screen and a V-shaped notch. It also includes 4GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000 mAh lithium battery. The phone has three rear cameras: a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera, a 5MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, and a depth sensor of 2 MP. An 8 MP f/2.2 snapper is used to take selfies.

Samsung’s One UI Core 4.1 runs Android 12 on the Galaxy M13. Core means that not all features in One UI 4.1 are available on the Galaxy M13 because it uses entry-level hardware. Although this M13 does not have 5G support, recent leaks suggest an M13 5G should soon be available. The Galaxy M13 will be available in Deep Green, Orange Copper, or Light Blue. It supports dual-SIM functionality and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
