The Camon 50 Ultra has gone official in India, four months after its global debut in March.
Price: Rs 39,999, Amazon exclusive, with the first sale kicking off July 21 at 12 noon. Tecno is sweetening the launch with a Rs 3,000 instant coupon that drops the effective price to Rs 36,999, but only for July 21 and 22, plus no-cost EMI for up to six months.
Colors are Nebula Titanium, Cypress Green, and Misty Purple. Oddly, Tecno’s launch materials skip the memory configuration entirely – retail listings point to a single 8GB + 256GB variant, but the company itself hasn’t said so.
The hardware matches what other markets already got:
- Display: 6.78″ curved AMOLED, 1.5K (2,644 x 1,208), 144Hz, Gorilla Glass 7i.
- Chipset: Dimensity 7400 Ultimate, running HiOS 16 on Android 16. Three OS upgrades, five years of security patches.
- Cameras: three 50MP shooters – a Sony LYT-700C primary with OIS, a 3x optical telephoto, and an autofocus selfie. The 8MP 112˚ ultrawide is the odd one out.
- Battery: 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon with 45W charging. India gets the bigger cell; some regions make do with 6,150 mAh.
- Durability: IP66/68/69/69K plus MIL-STD-810H, and an in-display fingerprint reader.

At this price the Camon 50 Ultra is playing in genuinely crowded territory, so that two-day coupon window is doing a lot of work.
