Samsung made the Galaxy F70 Pro official in India today, and if it looks familiar, there’s a reason. This is broadly the recently launched Galaxy M47 wearing a different badge, with Flipkart exclusivity as the main distinction – Samsung’s usual F-series routine.
The money part first. Sticker prices are Rs 25,999 for 6/128GB, Rs 29,999 for 8/128GB and Rs 34,999 for 8/256GB, but the Freedom Sale starting August 8 brings the base model down to an effective Rs 23,999, around $250. Colors are Alpha Black and Aura Green, sales through Flipkart and Samsung’s own store.
What you actually get: a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED, FHD+, 120Hz, Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top. Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 inside with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. A 6,000mAh battery charging at 45W. Cameras are a 50MP main with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro that exists mostly so the back can say “triple camera” – the main sensor is the one doing the work here. A 12MP selfie shooter sits up front. IP64, stereo speakers, side fingerprint reader, NFC.
The real selling point isn’t any of that hardware though. It ships on Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and Samsung is promising six generations of OS upgrades plus six years of security patches, which nothing else near this price matches. Buy it in 2026, still getting updates in 2032. For anyone who keeps phones until they die, that’s the whole argument.
