Lava Aura Curve Launches In Indian Phone Shops At Rs 23,999

Lava put the Virat Curve on Flipkart last month, and now the same phone is getting a second name for buyers who walk into a shop instead of ordering online. The Aura Curve has the same curved screen, rear mini display and specs as the Virat Curve, but it’s sold only through offline retailers across India.

How Much The Aura Curve Costs

There’s one model, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at Rs 23,999 (about $285). That’s the same sticker price as the Virat Curve.

The difference is in the offers. On Flipkart, the Virat Curve drops to an effective Rs 19,999 with a Rs 4,000 bank card discount. Lava hasn’t announced anything similar for the Aura Curve in shops, so anyone buying it at the counter should ask before paying full price.

What You Get For The Money

  • Display: 6.67-inch curved AMOLED, 120Hz
  • Rear screen: small AMOLED panel beside the camera for notifications, time, battery and music controls
  • Chip: MediaTek Dimensity 7100
  • Battery: 6,000mAh with 45W fast charging
  • Cameras: 50MP Sony IMX752 on the back, 13MP for selfies
  • Software: clean Android 16 with no bloatware

It also has an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, an IP64 rating against dust and splashes, plus 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. There are two colours to pick from.

Why Lava Is Selling The Same Phone Twice

Plenty of buyers in smaller Indian towns still buy phones from the local shop where they can hold the handset first and get help setting it up. Brands like Vivo and Oppo built their numbers on that route for years. Giving the offline version its own name lets Lava keep online and shop pricing separate without two identical phones fighting each other on the same listing.

If you’ve already seen the Virat Curve online, you know what the Aura Curve is. It’s the same phone with a different label on the box, sitting in a shop window instead of a Flipkart cart.
