Samsung’s One UI 6.1 Update Confirmed Reaches 8.8 Million Devices

Samsung has announced that its latest software update, One UI 6.1, has been installed on 8.8 million devices since its release in March. This number only includes certain devices, like the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Flip5, and Tab S9 series, and does not include the Galaxy S24 series, which came with the update already installed.

More Devices to Get the Update

In May, the update will be available for even more devices, including the Galaxy S22 series, Fold4, Flip4, and Tab S8 series. This means even more people will be able to use the new features, including AI tools.

Samsung wants to make its AI tools available to over 100 million users by the end of 2024. The most popular AI features so far have been:

  • Live Translate (translates languages in real-time)
  • Live Transcribe (converts spoken words to text)
  • Chat Assist (helps with writing messages)
  • Circle to Search (searches for information)

Many Users Have Installed the Update

A large number of users have already installed the One UI 6.1 update, including:

  • 75% of European Galaxy Z Fold5 users
  • 80% of Galaxy S23 Ultra owners
  • 65% of Galaxy Tab S9 users

This makes it one of Samsung’s most popular software updates ever!
