Realme put out the GT 8 series in China last month, October 2025. There are two phones in it, but the Pro is first for other countries, starting in Asia. India looks like the kickoff spot. The event is set for this month, but no fixed day yet. Some talk says mid-November, like the 20th, or maybe the 11th, from hints online. It has top parts for games and pictures, made with Ricoh’s help. That’s a camera maker. They did the changeable camera part and fixed the software for good photos. The one for other places might change a bit from China’s, like a smaller battery, but the main things are the same.
Chip and Memory
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the main chip, new from Qualcomm this year, on 3nm. It goes up to 4.6GHz on fast cores. That lets it do hard games or changes without slowdown, maybe better than Apple’s A19 Pro in speed checks. The start model has 12GB LPDDR5X RAM for easy app change, but you can get 16GB for more work or big programs. Space starts at 256GB UFS 4.0 and up, quick for open files, no wait. It stays cool with a vapor room inside, no slow when used long-term.
Battery Part
In China, the GT 8 Pro has a big 7000mAh battery, more than 6500mAh in the old GT 7 Pro. Good for two days with a mix of watching videos, calls, and looking at the web. But guess is other country model gets less, maybe 6000mAh, for rules or price. Happened with the past Realme. Charge is fast: 120W with full wire in under an hour from empty, 50W no wire if you have a base. No back charge said, but good on heat when filled.
Screen Info
The front is a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, with a changeable refresh 1Hz to 144Hz. Saves power on still like reading, smooth on games, or moving. Size 1440 x 3200 pixels, clear over 500 ppi for sharp words and clips. Says 7000 nits top brightness, but for HDR parts in light places. Normal outside around 2000 nits, fights the sun okay, no problem. Colors are good with 10-bit, over a billion kinds, with slightly curved sides for a nice hold. Fingerprint under the screen quick open, plus face.
Cameras
Back cameras stand out: 200MP ISOCELL HP5 under long lens for 3x real zoom, no lose clear, OIS stops shake for sharp far shots. The main is a 50MP big sensor for dark places, takes more light than the old one. Wide is 50MP, big view, no bend edges, good groups or land. Front 32MP in hole, clear self shots, AI fix skin or back. Ricoh help means better work, like real colors or quick lock, changeable part lets you swap lenses if you buy more, not usual yet. Videos to 8K, steady with electric help.
Other Things and When Get
Runs Android 16 with Realme UI 7 over, simple look, game ways up speed, AI for battery or photos. IP68 for dust and water, okay splash or fall. Two speakers, Dolby, shake feel for deep. Connect: 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC pay. China starts $700, other places bit more for fees. Look Realme page or shops; India starts pushing Ricoh, might come to Pakistan soon after. If you want a strong phone no Apple cost, is it good to wait?
