Huawei Mate X6 Set for Worldwide Release, Launch Timeline Revealed

Huawei has set December 12 as the date for its next big flagship product launch, and it’s happening in Dubai. The tagline for the event reads, “Unfold the classic as a new era of flagship foldable excellence begins.” It’s a clear hint that the recently introduced Huawei Mate X6 will be going global.

While the focus seems to be on foldables, there’s some speculation that the Mate XT Ultimate might also make an international appearance. However, the hashtag #UnfoldTheClassic doesn’t quite align with the tri-fold design of the Mate XT Ultimate, which we had a chance to check out back in September.

It’s not just about the Mate X6, though. The event might also feature other products, including the new MatePad Pro 13.2 and FreeBuds Pro 4. Huawei could also take this opportunity to show off the new Sapphire Gold version of its Watch Ultimate, even though the smartwatch has been around for over a year now.

What’s noticeably absent from the announcements so far is any mention of the Mate series flagship phones. While part of me is holding out hope for a surprise global release, it seems more likely that these devices will remain exclusive to China for the second year in a row. Still, I’ll be watching closely for any unexpected reveals.
