The Infinix GT 30 Pro recently appeared in the Geekbench database, confirming its development and sparking interest among gaming phone enthusiasts. The company has now officially announced the release date and shared key specs through its ongoing ad campaign.
The phone will launch in Malaysia on May 21 at 3 PM local time (7 AM UTC). Infinix will also introduce the XPad GT gaming tablet and GT Buds together with the phone. The event will be streamed live on Infinix’s Malaysian Facebook page and official TikTok channel.

Teasers show that the GT 30 Pro keeps a gaming phone look with RGB lights and a Mech-style design, just like the previous model. One major upgrade is the inclusion of shoulder triggers, positioning it as a strong competitor against flagship gaming phones from brands like Asus ROG, Black Shark, and Nubia RedMagic.
The device supports a 144Hz AMOLED display, promising smooth gameplay. Powering this screen is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, built on a 4nm process and clocked at 3.35 GHz, coupled with the Immortalis Mali-G615 MP6 GPU tailored for gaming performance. The phone also comes equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, reflecting top-tier hardware choices.

Although official details are limited, rumors suggest the GT 30 Pro includes a 5500mAh battery with up to 67W fast charging. The phone is expected to run XOS 15 based on Android 15, but with gaming-focused UI enhancements and features.
There are also reports that the main camera will feature a 108MP sensor, though this remains unconfirmed by Infinix. More comprehensive specifications are likely to be revealed at launch.

This upcoming release highlights Infinix’s continued push into the competitive gaming smartphone market, blending strong hardware with gaming-oriented design and features. The full package will become clear once the GT 30 Pro and its companion products launch later this month.
