Honor is set to bring out the GT 2 phones in December 2025. This means the basic GT 2 and the better GT 2 Pro. Honor hasn’t said anything official about what these phones have. But a guy named Digital Chat Station shared some info on Weibo. He often gets these things right. So this lets us guess what the phones might be like. Remember, it’s just talk until Honor says for sure.
Chips That Run the Phones
The GT 2 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip from last year. That’s a part made by Qualcomm in 2024 for strong phones. It deals with games, programs, and doing many things at once without slowing down much. It has eight small parts inside called cores. The fastest go up to about 3.3 gigahertz. Made with 4 nanometer tech to save battery. The GT 2 Pro gets the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. That’s the latest one, coming soon. It has quicker cores, smarter AI help, speeds maybe up to 4 gigahertz. Still saves power. Both chips work with 5G networks for fast internet, charge quick, and have good picture parts for easy gaming.

How They Are Made and Screens
The phones have metal sides. That makes them tough and nice to hold, not like weak plastic. Screens are 6.83 inches big. Clear at 1.5K level, which is around 1220 by 2712 dots. Sharp for watching shows or reading without seeing the dots. Probably OLED type screens for dark blacks and bright colors. Talk says 165 hertz update rate. That means the picture changes 165 times a second for smooth moving, no fuzzy in quick games. Edges around screen are small, maybe bent a bit for easy hold.
Cameras
The main back camera is 50 million dots for both phones. It grabs a lot of info in pictures. Good in dim spots with a big catcher part, maybe a shaker stop to keep steady. No info on other cameras yet, like wide view or close up ones. They might add those. Front camera for self pictures not said, but guess around 32 million dots.
Battery Size
At least one phone has 9000 milliamp hour battery or more. That’s very big. Lasts two days on usual stuff like talking, looking online, some clips. Fast fill up, maybe 100 watts with wire to get full quick. To compare, the old Honor GT Pro from April 2025 had 7200 milliamp hours. That was large, but this is even bigger for more time away from charger.
Other Things
Fingerprint reader under screen is 3D sound wave type. It looks at your finger in 3D for fast open, works if wet or dirty better than light ones. Strong against water means likely IP68 and IP69 marks. IP68 lets it go under water 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. IP69 adds strong water sprays like from a hose without break. Fine for wet weather or sink drops.
No cost or colors out yet. But these phones are for game players. Cooling inside to stay cool in long play. Start in China, maybe other places after. Look for real news soon.
