As per Mark Gurman Apple is working on the next-gen iMac with an M3 chip. It’s going to be a super arrangement for desk workers who require the superior performance from Mac. Apple’s iMac is a pretty well-known product. The 24″ iMac from 2021, which is powered by the original M1, is the only model available right now, however it is already outdated.
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is developing a more powerful model that will employ the future Apple M3 processor (3nm rather than 5nm like the present M1 and M2 CPUs). However, the size of that one will remain the same.
Gurman claims that Cupertino is also creating a 32″ iMac that is bigger. This will be a premium product comparable to the 32″ IPS LCD screen, 6K resolution (16:9), and 10-bit color Apple Pro Display XDR. The new 24″ iMac, by contrast, has a 24″ 4.5K display (16:9) that uses 10-bit colors.
However, since the design process is only getting begun, the 32″ iMac will be available any time. It is now expected to be shown in late 2024 or perhaps 2025. By the way, there used to be little 21.5″ iMacs as well, but there hasn’t been any word that Apple will make the new models smaller than 24″.
