Infinix has officially announced the launch of the Hot 50 5G, set for September 5, and they’re billing it as the “slimmest and most reliable 5G smartphone.” With a sleek 7.8mm thin profile, this phone is aiming to stand out in the competitive 5G market. One interesting feature Infinix is promoting is its Wet Touch technology, which sounds like a useful addition to handling the phone in less-than-ideal conditions.
The device will also come with an IP54 rating, meaning it’s dust and splash-resistant, and a triple-camera setup on the back. “According to official images, the Infinix Hot 50 5G will debut in a minimum of two striking color options, with further specifications to be unveiled on September 3.
According to some insider leaks, we’re looking at a Dimensity 6300 chipset powering the device, with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which should provide decent performance for the price range. For those in the market for a slim, budget-friendly 5G phone, the Hot 50 5G could be a solid contender when it launches.
