Infinix was one of the first smartphone brands to embrace the trend of ultra-thin devices, launching the Hot 50 Pro+ with a 6.8mm thickness. Now, the company is preparing to raise the bar further with the upcoming Hot 60 Pro+, which reportedly features a body thinner than 6mm — specifically, about 5.95mm. This would make it one of the thinnest curved-screen phones on the market.

This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tech leak source, which shared hands-on images of the Hot 60 Pro+ during its production stage. The phone is even compared in size to a standard iPhone, despite being positioned at a different price point. On the back, the Hot 60 Pro+ has a triple camera setup with lenses that stick out a bit, but there’s nothing particularly new or unique about it.
The trend toward ultra-thin phones is not new. For example, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge is already very thin at 5.8mm, setting a standard for slim high-end phones. Apple is reportedly preparing the iPhone 17 Air with an even thinner body at 5.5mm.

Despite the excitement around thin smartphones, the market’s preference remains uncertain. Some users prioritize slimness and design, while others may favor thicker phones that accommodate larger batteries and potentially longer usage times.
Whether Infinix’s Hot 60 Pro+ will capture significant attention for its thinness or if battery capacity will continue to dominate consumer choice remains to be seen.
