Infinix Xpad is officially Live.

    From, India

As I explored the latest offerings in the tech world, I came across Infinix’s first tablet, the Xpad. Here’s what caught my attention:

The Xpad boasts an 11-inch screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. I appreciate the fairly thin bezel, which brings the screen-to-body ratio to 83%. The brightness of 440 nits is also notable.

    Power and Performance

Under the hood, the Xpad is powered by a Helio G99 chipset with a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU. This chipset is widely used by Transsion brands and has proven to be a reliable choice. I’m interested in seeing how it performs in real-world scenarios. The Xpad also features an XArena Game Space with three power modes, which allocate different loads of power to the Arm-G57 MC2 GPU for gaming purposes.

    Design and Features

The Xpad’s sleek metal body exudes a sense of sophistication, making it feel like a high-end device in your hands. The device has one camera on each side, both with an 8 MP sensor. While not exceptional, this camera setup should suffice for basic photography needs. I’m more excited about the four speakers, which should enhance the multimedia experience.

    Battery Life and Charging

The Xpad packs a 7,000 mAh battery with 18W wired charging. Infinix claims that the Xpad can rapidly replenish its battery, reaching 50% capacity in a remarkably short 40 minutes. This is a decent charging speed, considering the battery size.

    Colors, RAM, and Storage

The Xpad comes in three colors: blue, black, Grey, and gold. It’s available with either 4 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. However, the exact memory combinations are not specified.

    Pricing and Availability

Unfortunately, Infinix has not revealed the pricing and availability details yet. These will be announced on a market-to-market basis.

    My Verdict

The Infinix Xpad seems like a solid first attempt at a tablet. While it may not revolutionize the market, it offers a good balance of features and performance. I’m curious to see how it will compete with other tablets in its class. One notable feature is the Folax voice assistant, powered by ChatGPT, which could be a game-changer. Overall, the Xpad is worth keeping an eye on, especially for those looking for a budget-friendly tablet with decent specs.
