Oppo has officially launched the A5 Pro 5G in India, offering a robust smartphone with features designed for durability and performance. The A5 Pro 5G costs ₹17,999 (8GB/128GB) and ₹19,999 (8GB/256GB). It’s a tough, fast phone at a good price.

The standout feature of the A5 Pro 5G is its rugged design. The device holds an IP66, IP68, and IP69 rating, along with MIL-STD-810H-2022 Military Grade certification, ensuring it is resistant to dust, water exposure, and accidental drops. The aluminum alloy frame, combined with double-tempered glass on the display, enhances drop resistance by 160%, making it a durable option for active users.
The A5 Pro 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD, offering a resolution of 1604×720 and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is said to reach a peak brightness of 1000 nits, providing good visibility under bright lighting conditions. The phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip to run things. It has 8GB of fast LPDDR4X memory, and you can get it with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage space. Plus, it has a special cooling system with a vapor chamber to stop it from getting too hot.

In terms of photography, the A5 Pro 5G sports a 50MP f/1.8 main camera along with a 2MP monochrome depth sensor, allowing for 1080p video recording at 60fps. On the front, the phone includes an 8MP camera capable of shooting 720p video at 30fps. This camera setup should meet the needs of most users for daily photography and video calls.

The device is backed by a 5800mAh battery, which supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, ensuring quick recharge times. This large battery capacity should also provide users with extended usage on a single charge.
You can get the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in two colors. One is Mocha Brown, which feels smooth and not shiny. The other is Feather Blue, which has a mix of blue and white colors that fades into each other and looks like feathers and Oppo Glow technology. The latter offers a scratch-resistant finish, enhancing both durability and aesthetics.

The A5 Pro 5G will be available for purchase on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, the OPPO Store, and other retail outlets in India.
