Oppo just launched its high-end Find X8 series, and it looks like the company is getting ready to introduce more phones, specifically in the mid-range and entry-level categories. Alongside the Reno13 series coming to China, Oppo is prepping a budget-friendly device, the A5 Pro. The phone recently appeared on TENAA’s site under the model number PKP110, which typically signals an upcoming release.
According to TENAA, the A5 Pro will feature a circular camera setup on the back with a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP secondary shooter. There’s also a 16 MP camera on the front for selfies. It’s expected to sport a 6.7-inch display with Full HD+ resolution—possibly an AMOLED with an in-display fingerprint reader, though TENAA didn’t confirm the exact panel type.
Specs-wise, the A5 Pro is listed with a 2.5 GHz CPU, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and storage options of either 256 GB or 512 GB. Oppo’s A series often heads to Southeast Asian markets, so we might see the A5 Pro go international after its launch in China.
