OPPO launched the A5 Pro in Pakistan shortly after teasing the device on its official social media. The phone targets the midrange segment, offering durability, updated software, and several AI-powered features. Two variants are now available in the local market: one with 128GB storage and another with 256GB. Both versions come with 8GB RAM.

The A5 Pro features a 6.67-inch IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While the resolution is limited to 720p HD+, OPPO advertises 1000 nits peak brightness, which should offer reasonable visibility in outdoor use. It’s uncommon for IPS panels to reach such levels of brightness, making this a notable improvement.
Durability is one of the main selling points. The phone has received an IP69 rating, offering full protection against dust and water. OPPO also claims that the A5 Pro has passed 14 military-grade durability tests, suggesting strong resistance against everyday drops and impact.

The processor has now been confirmed to be the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1. This 2.1GHz octa-core chip, built on an 11nm process, brings LTE connectivity. It performs in a similar range to the Helio G100 and supports UFS 2.1 storage and LPDDR4X RAM—both important for maintaining responsiveness.

Powering the device is a 5800mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging. This capacity should ensure long battery life for daily use. The 256GB variant, in particular, benefits from fast internal storage that helps with quick file access and smoother performance.
On the rear, the A5 Pro includes a 50MP main camera, supported by a 2MP monochrome sensor. The front camera is an 8MP unit. The device uses a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, given the lack of an AMOLED panel.

Out of the box, the phone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15. AI integration is present across multiple system features, including LinkBoost, GameBoost, AI Portrait Retouching, AI Eraser 2.0, and AI Studio. A VC cooling chamber has also been included to help maintain performance during gaming sessions.
In terms of pricing, the 8GB/128GB model of the OPPO A5 Pro is listed at Rs. 49,999, while the 8GB/256GB variant is available for Rs. 54,999. Based on its specifications and focus on durability, the A5 Pro positions itself as a reliable midrange option in the local market.
