The Oppo Reno 13 has made its first public appearance, and it’s already causing quite a stir. The leaked image, shared by Digital Chat Station (DCS), has sparked comparisons to the iPhone 15—and not without reason. To emphasize the similarity, DCS even posted a side-by-side comparison showing how closely the two designs align.
According to DCS, the Reno 13 launched in China on November 25, with a global release planned for later. The real-life shot of the device reveals striking similarities to the iPhone 15. Aside from the diagonal lens placement on the iPhone, almost everything else about the Reno 13 feels familiar.
It features a squircle-shaped camera island, slightly raised and seamlessly integrated into the chassis, just like Apple’s design. The camera area has a glossy finish, while the rest of the rear is frosted glass. The camera setup on the Reno 13 includes three vertically aligned lenses and a ring flash—one of the few differences from the iPhone 15. Even the flat aluminum sides with slightly rounded edges look nearly identical.
Rumored specs add more intrigue to the Reno 13. It’s expected to feature a 6.59-inch quad-micro-curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Dimensity 8350 SoC. The phone is also said to pack a 5,600mAh battery and run Android 15, signaling a semi-flagship approach.
Whether you love or hate the resemblance, there’s no denying that Oppo has managed to turn heads with the Reno 13.
