Time for an Upgrade: These Are Pakistan’s Favorite Smartphones for 2022

New trend alert! There’s always a faster, better looking, and crisper smartphone on the market. Each year, companies put out their flagship models, alongside their lesser-known variants, with significantly less fanfare. But just because a phone isn’t the major release for the tech company doesn’t mean it’s a dud.

New smartphone releases are great and all, but you really must tread cautiously. You don’t want to fork out money thinking you’re getting a good deal – or a phone with better features – only to be duped into paying more for less. We upgrade our smartphones for a variety of reasons. Perhaps the grim reaper is about to pay a visit to our current one.

Maybe the latest techie features have been added to the model you’re eyeing, enhancing your accessibility for remote working. Or, it could just be a case of wanting to improve your gameplay when trying to maximize on your mobile casino no deposit bonuses? There may be a number of reasons luring us to change our phones, some may be more convincing than others. In any case, here’s our list of phones worth considering…

    1. Vivo Y22

A very, very new release on our list, the Vivo Y22 is proving to be worth the price tag. The phone features a high def 50MP camera, 64GB 4GB RAM or 128GB 6GB RAM, plus water and dust resistance. There’s plenty to love with the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and Octa-core CPU, plus fast charging for its in-built 5000mAH battery.

    2. Infinix Hot 12 Play

Any phone(Infinix Hot 12 Play) that has the words Hot and Play in its name is alright in our book. What that means in effect is that this Infinix is a great handset for all around use, perfect for those long days or nights where you’re bored senseless and looking for something to do – although gamers do say it’s not up to scratch for hardcore gaming. The 6000mAH battery helps keep you juiced up for as long as possible.

    3. Oppo A16E

If you’re an Oppo fan (which many of us are here), then the Oppo A16e is a solid investment if you’re looking for an upgrade. The phone is great value for money with what it has, and has the Oppo brand’s smooth UI experience. While it doesn’t feel like a luxury phone, it runs well, with the Mediatek MT6762D Helio P22 chipset, plus displays like a dream with its 6.52in screen with IPS LCD.

    4. Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

Looking for a 5G phone? Then the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is a newer model that has you covered. The smartphone rates highly among users thanks to its all-round spec coverage. You’ll find a 48MP camera, plus 8MP ultrawide camera, an Exynos 1280 chipset, a 6.4in screen, and, excitingly, IP67 dust/water resistant which lasts for up to 1m depth for 30 minutes. The only downfall here is that it’s a single SIM phone.

    5. Vivo V25E

Vivo’s V25e is still yet to be released – coming soon – but if it’s anything like the previous iterations of this phone, we’re sure to have a winner on our hands. The specs are out already and the phone’s release is imminent. You can expect a 6.44in screen, and a chassis with glass front and back. The triple camera features a leading 64MP f/1.8 aperture, and an octa-core CPU for fast processing.

    6. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro

The Note 11 Pro, released in January 2022, is Xiaomi Redmi’s leading smartphone in the market today. The phone is built to IP53, making it dust and scratch resistant, plus the Super AMOLED 6.65in screen features Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with multiple configurations of storage, Android 11, and it a great fit for gamers on the go.

    7. Xiaomi Redmi 10

For people who are after a budget option, there’s no going past the Xiaomi Redmi 10. At just Rs. 28,499, the phone is a steal. Redmi is unique in that the brand isn’t available in much of the world, it’s a big of an exclusive in the region. With 64GB plus 4G RAM, plus a 5000mAH battery, it’s nothing to sneeze at from a low-end phone. The phone also features dual-SIM, a 6.5 inch screen, and microSD slot.

Whichever phone you choose, make sure that you take a look at the up-to-date user reviews before you make your final verdict. While the salesperson at the store may say that the phone is amazing – it’s their job to sell to you – so don’t let them win you over just by words.
