Realme announced the Realme 8 last month, and now the company has revealed that it will launch the 5G version on April 21.
What’s New in the 5G Version?
The Realme 8 5G’s design was revealed through a short video posted on Realme‘s Thai Facebook account.
- The phone doesn’t have the large “Dare to Leap” text on its back like the 4G version.
- It has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 48MP primary camera (instead of the 64MP quad camera on the 4G model).
Other Features
While the video doesn’t show the front of the phone, we expect it to have a punch-hole display. The Realme 8 5G seems to be a rebranded V13 5G, which was launched in China last month.
- Dimensity 700 SoC
- 8GB RAM
- Android 11
- 5,000 mAh battery
- Side-mounted fingerprint reader
- 6.5″ FullHD+ 90Hz LCD
- 8MP selfie camera
- 18W charging
Launch Details
The Realme 8 5G will be launched on April 21. We’ll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm all the features and pricing.
