Samsung Galaxy A53 going to have two Chipset versions

We’ve seen Samsung having two different variants of their top phones and some markets receiving the Snapdragon chipset and others opting for Exynos. What markets will receive which can change however, other than this, it’s been pretty consistent over the last few years.

It appears that Samsung may be preparing to follow the same approach to one of its top mid-ranger models. The forthcoming Galaxy A53 will succeed the A52 or A52s as well as the A51 that were the top-selling mid-ranger models from Samsung. The A53 is said to be available in two variants, and with two chipsets that are different, as A52, the top model in Samsung’s S series.

The source clarifies that there isn’t caused by the existence of two versions of the 4G version of the A53 There’s clearly one version of the A53 5G. In certain markets, such as the US the possibility is that this model will be available with a brand updated Exynos SoC (possibly marketed as Exynos 1200 upon launch). The A53 will be sold under the model number SM-536U. There’s also an SM-A536B model for Europe as well as an SM-536E that will be used for Middle East, North Africa as well as a variety of Asian markets as well as India. The models could have different chipsets.

It’s possible that this is linked to the ever-growing chip issue as Samsung trying to find the most SoCs for its most popular product as it can. Its Galaxy A53 is expected to be officially launched in March, possibly along with Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A33 and A73. The A53 will feature the main camera with 64 MP and a battery of 5,000 mAh. It will be available in black, white and blue colors.
