Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Launched With S Pen

    Samsung has today unveiled its Galaxy S22 Ultra phone, which will be the first flagship from the company in 2022, and will be an upgrade to Galaxy Note20 Ultra in 2021 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the 2020’s Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In addition to the normal year-over-year enhancements the most notable feature is the addition in the S Pen from the now extinct Galaxy Note line.

    Galaxy S22 Ultra Galaxy S22 Ultra features a style that is similar to that of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with a flat front and back, along with a top and bottom, with curving sides. A color (Burgundy) actually looks very like it’s Mystic Bronze color of the Note 20. Similar to the Note 20 it is similar to S22 Ultra, too. S22 Ultra also comes with an aesthetically pleasing curve to the display. On the back , you’ll find the new camera array, which is in the same arrangement as the previous model S21 Ultra but without the huge raised island that surrounds the display.

    The Galaxy S22 Ultra uses an aluminum frame, and it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front as well as the back. The phone and S Pen S Pen are IP68 water and dust-resistant.

    The brand new integrated S Pen has an upgraded time-to-market at 2.8ms and AI-based co-ordinate forecasting technology. Samsung has also improved its handwriting-to-text feature, and is now compatible with more than 88 languages.

    The brand new Quick Note feature allows you to link or attach contents in a Pop-Up note in Samsung’s applications like Gallery and Browser. Additionally, there’s a brand new feature called Collaboration View that allows syncing between the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Tab S8 Series. This allows users to make use of your Galaxy S22 Ultra to switch your drawing tools when drawing with the Tab S8.

    The display of the S22 Ultra is identical to the one it predates. It’s an 6.8-inch 1440p Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel that has a 120Hz refresh speed. Samsung boasts a touch sampling rate of 240Hz rate 1,750 nits of peak brightness and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. The display also has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

    The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a the same 108MP F/1.8 main camera as the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Next to it are a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and a couple of telephoto snappers – 10MP F/2.4 3x and 10MP F/4.9 10x periscope

    The Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with either the new Exynos 2200 SoC from Samsung or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from Qualcomm. Both these flagship chipsets are based on the new 4nm manufacturing process and feature similar octa-core CPU design. However, while the Qualcomm chipset includes the company’s Adreno 730 GPU, the Exynos chipset will feature the new AMD RDNA2-based Xclipse 920 GPU. Both feature improved AI processing, with Samsung claiming 2x faster NPU in S22 Series phones, i,e Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra over the Galaxy S21 series.

    In terms of storage and memory In terms of storage and memory, in terms of storage and memory, the S22 Ultra will begin at 8GB memory and 128GB of internal storage. Other models will come with the capacity of 12GB, and you can choose between 1TB, 256GB, as well as 1TB in storage.

    Its S22 Ultra will ship with One UI 4.1 that runs on top of Android 12. It packs a battery capacity of 5000mAh that supports up to 45W of fast charging via a cabled charger as well as 15W wirelessly.

    Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green, and Burgundy from February 25, Pre-orders are now open.
