Tecno Unveils Megapad 11, Featuring 90Hz Display and MediaTek G99 Chipset

Tecno has unveiled the Megapad 11, a more powerful version of the Megapad introduced back in October. Aimed at budget-conscious users, this 11-inch tablet offers solid features without breaking the bank.

The Megapad 11 comes with an 11-inch IPS LCD panel that supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, giving it a standard 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek G99 chipset, which is paired with either 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage. Plus, there’s a microSD card slot for those who need more space.

Battery life should be reliable, thanks to the 8,000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging. For its price range, this is a decent setup.

The tablet also covers the basics when it comes to cameras: a 13MP sensor on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera for video calls or selfies. While I wouldn’t expect flagship-level quality here, they should handle everyday tasks just fine.

One feature I like is the quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, which should make media consumption more enjoyable. And the metallic chassis gives the tablet a premium feel, which is always a nice touch at this price point.

The Tecno Megapad 11 looks like a strong option for those seeking a budget-friendly tablet with decent performance and features. It’ll be interesting to see how it performs in the real world, especially against competitors in the same price range.
