Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo Y04, the successor to the Y03, and Pakistan will be one of the first markets to receive it. The device will arrive in the local market within the next few days. We recently came across its FCC, NCC, TDRA, and CQC certifications, and now we have a feature infographic that reveals some key details about the phone.

The Vivo Y04 comes with a completely revamped design. It features a vertical camera module with two lenses and a flat-edge chassis, giving it a more modern aesthetic compared to its predecessor. One of the biggest highlights of this device is its durability. Vivo has put a strong emphasis on ruggedness, as shown by its TUV SUD and SGS certifications.

Vivo claims that the Y04 is IP64 rated, providing entry-level water resistance and high dust protection. The device also introduces a Wet Touch feature, which helps prevent accidental touches when the screen gets wet.

The SGS drop resistance test gave the Y04 a 5-star rating, proving its toughness. With an Anti-Drop design, the phone withstood 32,000 small-height drops during testing. It also boasts Military-grade certification, further reinforcing its durability.

    Features & Upgrades

    • Dual-Speaker Setup: A top-mounted grille houses one of the speakers, providing stereo sound.
    • Side-Mounted Fingerprint Scanner: This was missing in the Y03, making it a notable improvement. The fingerprint sensor doubles as a power button for quick access.
    • 5500mAh Battery: Vivo claims this can provide up to 19 hours of YouTube video playback.
