Vivo Y200 has finally made its way to Pakistan! Pre-orders are live on Vivo’s official Facebook page for the 8+256 GB version, with a price tag that seems quite reasonable. There’s also an 8+128 GB variant, equipped with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Some time ago, Vivo launched the Y200+. It is part of the extensive and complex Y Series lineup, which offers a wide range of models with varying features and specifications.
This Pakistani version of the Y200 features a 6.67” AMOLED E4 display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, and an impressive peak brightness of 1800 nits. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen, making it sleek and modern. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor tucked into a punch hole on the display, while the rear sports a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP bokeh sensor. Vivo’s Auro Light flash is also here to enhance portrait shots.
The Y200 has an IP64 rating, so it’s dustproof and can handle a bit of water, but what really caught my eye is the Wet-hand Touch feature—no more wiping your hands just to unlock your phone! Vivo has also packed in several AI features like AI Imaging, AI Documents, AI Eraser, and AI Photo Enhancement, which should make using the phone a breeze.
For sound, the Dual Speaker system promises to crank up the volume by 300%, offering a solid stereo experience. Powering it all is the Snapdragon 685, running on Android 14. Sure, it’s not the latest chipset, but it should handle day-to-day tasks just fine, especially with 8 GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly.
The battery is a decent 5000mAh with 80W fast charging, which is quite impressive for this segment. The Green version of the Y200 is super slim at 7.79mm, while the Silver one is slightly thicker at 7.95mm. If you’re interested, the 8/256GB variant is available for pre-order at Rs 65,999/-.
It’s a solid offering from Vivo, especially if you’re looking for a mid-range phone with good specs and a few standout features.
