Vivo Y29 4G Launches in Pakistan

Vivo has released the Y29 4G in Pakistan. The phone has a hole-punch screen, a big 6500mAh battery, and tough military-grade protection. In a segment where compromises are common, this one seems focused on long battery life and ruggedness without inflating the price.

The Snapdragon 685 (6nm) chip powers this device, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It’s a 4G-only model, and that suits the target market where affordability often matters more than top-end speed. The phone runs Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15, offering a clean, updated software experience backed by a relatively efficient processor.

The battery capacity is among the highest in this price range, and despite the 6500mAh cell, the Y29 keeps a slim profile — 8.09mm for the Black and Brown models, 8.19mm for the White. The inclusion of MIL-STD-810H shock resistance and an IP64 rating adds a durability layer not often seen in budget phones.

The phone has a 6.68-inch IPS screen with 720p resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and tough Schott Glass. It gets very bright (1000 nits), making it easy to see outdoors. The bezels are slim, and the small punch-hole keeps the display looking neat.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, along with Aura Light to help with low-light shots. The 8MP front camera handles selfies and supports 1080p video recording.

For charging, the Y29 supports 44W FlashCharge, which helps refill the large battery in less time. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint reader and stereo speakers, though it skips out on both NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.

    Vivo Y29

The phone is available in Pakistan in a single variant — 8GB RAM + 128GB storage — priced at Rs 49,999. For users looking for a reliable device with strong battery backup, solid build quality, and a straightforward feature set, the Vivo Y29 4G appears to be a well-balanced choice.
