Xiaomi formally introduces the 14T and 14T Pro smartphones, boasting Dimensity processors and advanced triple-camera systems.

When Xiaomi unveiled the 14T and 14T Pro, I immediately noticed how closely these models followed the formula set by their predecessors, the 13T and 13T Pro. Both come with 6.67-inch 144Hz displays, but Xiaomi has made some notable improvements, especially in brightness, with these screens now reaching an impressive 4,000 nits.

Out of the two, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is the most powerful. It’s equipped with the faster Dimensity 9300+ chipset, featuring a 3.4GHz Cortex-X4 core, improved graphics with the Immortalis-G720 MC12, and either 12GB or 16GB of RAM. If you need more performance, the 14T Pro will be the better choice.

Both phones are IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, which is great for added durability. Design-wise, the 14T Pro has a slightly curved rear panel, whereas the 14T sticks to a flat design.

Battery life seems solid across the board, with both models packing 5,000mAh batteries. The 14T Pro supports faster 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, whereas the regular 14T only offers 67W wired charging and no wireless option.

Camera enthusiasts will likely appreciate the 14T Pro’s larger 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor on its main camera, along with its 50MP telephoto and ultrawide options. The 14T is no slouch either, but its main sensor is a bit smaller, and its telephoto lens offers less reach.

Both devices come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS, enhanced with Advanced AI and integration with Google’s Gemini and Circle to Search features, which should bring smoother and more responsive software experiences.

As for color options, the Xiaomi 14T offers choices like Titan Gray, Titan Blue, Titan Black, and an eye-catching faux leather Lemon Green option. The 14T Pro sticks to Titan Gray, Titan Blue, and Titan Black. Pricing starts at £599 for the 14T and £800 for the 14T Pro, and Xiaomi is offering a solid deal in Germany for early adopters—free storage upgrades for the Pro models if you buy before the end of September.

For those who order by October 31, Xiaomi is even throwing in a free Redmi Pad Pro with the 14T or a Redmi Pad 6 with the 14T Pro, which is a nice bonus for anyone in the market for a new tablet alongside their phone.
