Contrary to earlier reports, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will reportedly feature a larger 5,000 mAh battery, not 4,700 mAh as previously thought. This information comes from an insider who has access to an early engineering sample of the device.
A well-known Chinese tipster on Weibo revealed the details, stating that the battery is split into two parts, hinting at ultra-fast charging capabilities. While the source of this information is unknown, the tipster claims that the latest engineering sample indeed features a 5,000 mAh battery, which is an upgrade from last year’s Mi 10 Ultra.
Previous reports suggest that the handset will support Xiaomi’s rapid 120W wired charging, which was first introduced with the Mi 10 Ultra. However, there is still no official release date set for the Mi 11 Pro, so we will have to wait and see for further confirmation.
