The previous month, Xiaomi Redmi teased its new Note 12 series launch outside China without announcing the exact date. Over the course of a few days, the banner displayed a vague message that read, “Coming Soon.” Four devices are set to debut: Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Explorer (explorer is not expected soon in Pakistan, but others are for sure).
In the most recent break that was released, the company officially declared the launch date for the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. In the tweet that was shared yesterday, the firm revealed the launch date as well as a teaser of the device. According to the reports, the forthcoming Note 12 Pro Plus will launch globally on January 5th, 2023.
The shared marketing image reveals a 200MP camera on the phone, which I’ve learned is the Samsung ISOCELL sensor. The tweet redirects to the dedicated microsite for Note 12 Pro+ on Xiaomi’s official link.
As I reported earlier, the manufacturer will be hosting a specific keynote to announce this Xiaomi New Pro Model’s launch. SuperNote or SuperNote event, as they call it, will take place on the 5th of January. Although the company is trying to create confusion on the internet, I already have the specs of the phone since it’s available for sale in China.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus comes with an OLED display with a total of 6.67 inches, featuring FHD+ resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with an all-new Dimensity 1080 Chip, which is clocked at a nifty 2.6GHz rate. It has a 16MP camera on the front and underneath the hood is a 5000mAh battery.
It highlights a 200MP ISOCELL HPX OIS-primary camera with a whopping 1/1.4 aperture radius, 120W fast charging, and 1920Hz PWM dimming. It includes two 8MP+2MP auxiliary lenses on the back. The Pro Plus had two storage variants in China, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. The same could be true for the global release. The Pro+ from the last year didn’t make it to Pakistan, but the other two did. The Redmi Note 11 Pro’s retail price starts at Rs. 60,000.
