The wait is finally over. Vivo V50 has officially launched in Pakistan, bringing a few upgrades over its predecessor, the V40. The biggest improvement is in the battery department, now featuring a 6000mAh BlueVolt cell with 90W fast charging. The phone also ships with the latest Android 15-based FOS 15, but outside of these changes, the V50 remains largely similar to the V40.
In terms of design, Vivo has slightly refreshed the look. The phone now has a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with micro-curves on all four sides. However, there’s a noticeable downgrade—its resolution has dropped from 1.5K to 1080p. On the plus side, it retains a 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. Vivo has also replaced the Schott Xensation Alpha glass with Diamond Shield Glass, which may affect durability.

The V50 is slightly thicker and heavier than the V40, with a 7.67mm profile and a weight of 199g. The thinnest variant, Satin Black, measures 7.39mm, while the Misty Purple and Starry Blue options have slightly different dimensions. A key highlight this time is the camera setup—co-engineered with ZEISS. The phone retains a triple 50MP camera system, including a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP front camera. All lenses support 4K recording.
Another major update is the battery. The V50 introduces a 6000mAh BlueVolt battery, likely featuring Si/C material for better energy efficiency. It charges at 90W, an improvement over the V40’s 80W charging on a 5500mAh battery.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It also carries an IP68/IP69 rating, allowing for underwater photography. The pricing for the Vivo V50 in Pakistan is set at Rs. 139,999 for the 256GB variant and Rs. 149,999 for the 512GB model. Pre-orders start on March 8th, with deliveries beginning March 15th. Online buyers will receive Ronin Earbuds worth Rs. 5000 for free, while offline purchases will come with a free Bluetooth speaker. The official sales window runs from March 15th to March 23rd.
