Huawei Pura 80 Series Set to Launch on June 11, Camera Upgrades Expected

    From, United States

Huawei has confirmed that the Pura 80 series will officially launch in China on June 11 at 2:30 PM local time. This comes slightly later than the previous Pura 70 series, which was introduced in April last year. The extended timeline may be linked to developments in the camera hardware, especially for the Ultra variant.

Rumors suggest that the Pura 80 Ultra will feature a 1-inch type main sensor with a variable aperture, possibly developed in-house by Huawei. Alongside it, the phone is expected to include a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a periscope telephoto lens powered by a 1/1.3-inch sensor.

A teaser released by the company highlights the camera as a key focus of the new lineup, especially on the Ultra model. Full specifications and additional features are still under wraps and will be revealed during the launch event next week.

Until then, expectations remain centered on imaging performance, as Huawei continues to position its flagship phones around camera innovation.
