Xiaomi’s Poco F8 Ultra showed up on Thailand’s NBTC certification site a couple days ago, way earlier than usual. The model number is 25102PCBEG, and it’s cleared for sale there, supporting GSM for basic calls, WCDMA for older 3G data, LTE for 4G speeds, and NR for 5G connections. NBTC is the agency that tests phones for radio safety and network fit before they go on sale in Thailand, so this means the phone is real and prepped for that market. Normally, these certs pop up closer to launch, like a month or two out, not six months early like this one.

Poco’s F Series Pattern

Poco’s F series comes out once a year, usually around March, with the F7 Ultra dropping on March 27, 2025. That one had a 6.7-inch screen at 3200 by 1440 resolution with 120Hz refresh for smooth scrolling, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for fast performance, 50MP main camera plus others, 5300mAh battery that charges quick, and ran Android 15 with HyperOS skin. It weighed 212 grams, was 8.4mm thick, and started with 12GB RAM options. The Ultra versions are the top models in the line, with better specs than base ones, like more power or cameras.

Early Cert Hints at Quick Drop

Seeing the F8 Ultra certified now, in late October 2025, points to Xiaomi maybe pushing it out sooner than March 2026. Could be to grab market before competitors or build on hype from recent launches. If they start posting teasers on social media or their sites in the coming weeks, that’ll confirm a faster rollout. The global model code ending in G means it’s aimed at international spots, not just China.

Links to Redmi K90 Series

Rumors link the F8 Ultra to a rebrand of Redmi’s K90 Pro or K90 Pro Max, which Xiaomi often does—takes China phones and tweaks them for global under Poco name. The F7 Ultra was a rebranded K80 Pro. Redmi launched the K90 series today, October 23, 2025, in China.

K90 Pro Max Details

The K90 Pro Max packs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, their latest high-end chip with eight cores for top speed in games and apps. Battery is huge at 7560mAh, lasting 2-3 days on heavy use like streaming or browsing, charges at 100W wired to fill in under 30 minutes, 50W wireless on a pad, and 22.5W reverse to power other devices. Audio is Bose-tuned 2.1 stereo with a dedicated woofer on the back for deeper bass, plus two speakers for full sound. Camera uses Light Hunter 950 sensor, 1/1.31 inch size for better low-light shots, with DXG HDR for wide color range. Back has denim texture for grip, vapor chamber cooling to keep it from overheating during long sessions.

Standard K90 Specs

The standard K90 has a 7100mAh battery with 100W wired charging, 6.59-inch screen taking up 94 percent of the front for minimal borders, and the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It also gets 2.1 audio with woofer. Geekbench tests showed it with 16GB RAM, scoring over 3000 single-core and 10000 multi-core for strong performance.

What It Means for F8 Ultra

If F8 Ultra rebrands the Pro Max, you’d get that massive battery and audio globally; if the Pro, similar power but smaller battery. No official Poco specs yet, but expect similar pricing to F7 Ultra around 500-600 dollars. Keep checking Xiaomi news for confirmations—more certs like FCC in US or BIS in India would signal timeline. This early move could let buyers snag next-gen tech before the usual wait.
