Samsung Galaxy M01 Got Android 12 Major update

Samsung has released an Android 12 update for the Galaxy M01 basic smartphone that was released in 2020.

The firmware, M015GXXXU4CVF6, includes the June 2022 patch for security and OneUI 4.0. However, it’s not the fully-featured OneUI that you’ll get on Samsung’s higher-end phones, but it offers an impressive visual upgrade over the existing Android 11 on the Galaxy M01.

The update is available for Indian users as of now. Other markets should receive it over the next few weeks.

This is the final OS version for the Galaxy M01, which started its life in the year 2020 with Android 10 back in June of 2020. However, Samsung continues to release updates for security patches to the phone.
