Qualcomm has just announced its new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which is a top mid-range processor. There was no Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1, and the original Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 was only used in a few devices.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 promises big improvements in performance and energy efficiency. The main CPU core runs at 2.91GHz, and the overall CPU package is over 50% faster than the SD7 Gen 1.
