Vivo’s been dropping hints about the T5 Pro for a while now, and the wait has a proper end date. April 15 is when the phone officially lands in India, sold through vivo’s online store and Flipkart.

The number everyone keeps talking about is the battery 9,020mAh. That’s not a typo. Vivo’s confirmed it, along with a 7,000mm² vapor chamber for cooling, which makes sense given how much heat a chip pushing that kind of capacity can generate under load.

Physically, it sits at 8.25mm thin, carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, and runs a 144Hz display. The IP69 is the interesting one — that’s high-pressure water resistance, not just the usual splash protection.
On the specs side, leaks point to a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 running things, paired with a 6.8-inch AMOLED at 1.5K resolution. Camera setup reportedly leads with a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor. Software is Android 16 with vivo’s OriginOS 6 on top.
Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet. Given where vivo positions its T-series, mid-range territory is the safe assumption — but that battery alone is going to make comparisons at any price point interesting.
