Apple made the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max official as part of its major reveal event earlier on SEP 12, along with the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Apple also disclosed the precise release date for the following significant iOS update. On Monday, September 18, iOS 17, which has been in beta testing throughout the summer, will be officially released, Cheers!
At that time, it will be available as a free over-the-air update for all iPhone models that are still supported. That includes iPhones starting with the second-generation iPhone SE, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max; sadly, it excludes the iPhone X and earlier generations.
We genuinely mean that since this is Apple and not Google, today is the day. On the day they are released, Apple’s software updates are accessible to anybody who wants them, unlike Google’s annoying phased rollout scheme, which can make some users wait weeks to acquire the newest features.
