375x, 10,000x, 25,000x: Three Ceilings On One ₱0.25 Shelf

Put the three games Jili is pushing on GameZone next to each other and the first thing that should stop you is not the theme. Same coin in, ₱0.25, on all three. Then look at what each one lists as its top payout.

GameGridWays or linesMin betMax betListed maximumAs a multiple
Fortune Gems3 reels x 3 rows, plus a multiplier reelup to 5 paylines₱0.25₱1,000 (₱1,500 with Extra Bet)₱375,000375x

Golden Empire6 reels x 5 rows, extra reels above the middle columns32,400 ways₱0.25₱1,000₱25,000,00025,000x

Would anyone, reading that table cold, have guessed the gap between the first row and the last was sixty-six times? Same stake, same provider, same shelf, and one game tops out at ₱375,000 while another tops out at ₱25 million. That gap was decided when the grid was drawn, and the reels landing one way or another cannot change it afterwards. A 3×3 with five lines cannot pay what a 6×5 with cascades and a carrying multiplier can, however the reels land.

Which is why the grid is the thing to read before the theme, and why the Extra Bet on Fortune Gems, a 50% surcharge for a change Jili has never put a number on, gets its own section further down.

Fortune Gems Is A 3×3 With Five Lines, So The Top Is 375x Whatever The Fourth Column Does

Most of the Philippine review sites put Fortune Gems first, and of the three it has the smallest grid, three reels by three rows with up to five paylines. To the right of those three reels Jili has added a fourth, which it calls the Special Reel, and that reel carries no symbols at all, only a multiplier from 1x to 15x. Whatever the three main reels pay on a spin gets multiplied by whichever number the fourth reel has stopped on:

MultiplierIn the standard gameWith the Extra Bet
1xyesremoved
2xyesyes
3xyesyes
5xyesyes
10xyesyes
15xyesyes

Should a line win pay ₱20 and the fourth reel show 15x, ₱300 gets paid out. Should it show 1x, the ₱20 stays ₱20. The review sites list the RTP at 97%, which would be high for a slot and might be part of why the game is played so widely, though that figure is theirs, Jili’s own page does not print it.

The fourth reel does not move the ceiling, though. Fifteen times the best possible line win on a three by three is still a three by three, and the listed maximum is ₱375,000 on a ₱1,000 bet, 375x. Golden Empire in the table above lists 25,000x on the same ₱1,000, and the artwork on the two games could have been swapped without anyone noticing, so the difference is the grid and only the grid.

The Extra Bet: 50% More Stake, One Result Removed, And No Weights Published

Fortune Gems multiplier reel with and without Extra Bet, comparing the 50% higher stake with the unknown value

Fortune Gems has a switch marked Extra Bet that neither of the other two games has. Turn it on and the stake goes up by 50%, so a ₱1,000 spin becomes ₱1,500, and in return the 1x result is taken off the fourth reel. The 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x and 15x stay as they were, so half as much again has been paid for the removal of one outcome.

Is that worth paying for?

No one outside Jili can say, because the value of removing the 1x depends on how often the fourth reel would have landed on 1x in the first place, and Jili publishes no weights for that reel.

  • If the six results were evenly weighted, which no slot reel is, the average multiplier would move from 6x to 7x
    • (1+2+3+5+10+15) ÷ 6 = 6
    • (2+3+5+10+15) ÷ 5 = 7
    • a 17% lift in the average, bought with a 50% lift in the stake
  • If the 1x comes up far more often than the 15x, as the structure of every slot would suggest, removing it is worth a good deal more than 17%
  • If it comes up rarely, it is worth a good deal less

Which of those is true has not been printed anywhere, and slot providers do not publish reel weights as a rule, so it is unlikely to be. Mind it, that is not a complaint against Jili in particular, every multiplier gamble in every slot works the same way. For a reader deciding whether to flip the switch it comes down to this, the price of the Extra Bet is printed, 50%, and the value of it is not, and any review site telling you what it is worth is guessing from the same missing number.

Golden Empire Gets To 25,000x Because The Multiplier Carries Through The Cascades

Golden Empire Gets To 25,000x Because The Multiplier Carries Through The Cascades

Golden Empire has the biggest grid of the three, six reels by five rows with extra reels above the middle columns, and Jili counts that as 32,400 ways to win. Three things happen on it that do not happen on Fortune Gems, and between them they account for the sixty-six times.

First, a win clears the symbols that paid and new symbols drop into the gaps, and if the new ones form a win as well they are cleared too, and so on until a drop produces nothing. Jili calls these cascades. A single spin can pay three or four times before it ends.

Second, the Golden Wild. Once it has been part of a win it turns into an ordinary Wild and stays on the reels through the cascades that follow, with a counter that drops by one each time it helps another win, and when the counter hits zero it goes. While it is there it is making wins that the plain symbols would not have made.

The free spins are triggered by scatters:

Scatters landedFree spins awarded
48
510
612
each one beyond 6+2

Third, and this is the one that separates it from Super Ace as well, the multiplier inside the free spins goes up with every cascade and is carried forward rather than being put back to 1x. If a free spin produces a long chain of drops, each win in that chain is paid at a multiplier that has been climbing since the first one. Put 32,400 ways under a chain of cascades under a multiplier that does not reset and ₱25 million on a ₱0.25 game is the arithmetic that comes out.

Super Ace Sits Between, 1,024 Ways And A Ladder That Resets To 1x On A Dead Spin

Super Ace multiplier ladder resetting to 1x beside Golden Empire’s multiplier climbing through cascades

Super Ace is a playing card theme on five reels by four rows, 1,024 ways, and the review sites have it as the most played Jili title in the Philippines. Its ceiling, ₱10 million or 10,000x, sits in the middle of the shelf, and the multiplier ladder below explains why it does not reach Golden Empire’s.

Wins clear and new symbols fall, as on Golden Empire. The difference is what the multiplier does. Here it climbs a fixed ladder, and on any spin that produces no win at all it is put back to 1x:

Base game, consecutive winMultiplier
First1x
Second2x
Third3x
Fourth and beyond5x
Free games, consecutive winMultiplier
First2x
Second4x
Third6x
Fourth and beyond10x

So the 5x is only ever reached if four wins land one after another inside a single spin’s cascades, and an empty spin sends the ladder back to the bottom. In free games every rung is doubled, 2x, 4x, 6x, 10x, and the 10,000x ceiling is reached on that doubled ladder.

The Golden Card is the game’s own symbol. It only ever appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, it has to be part of a win and get cleared before it does anything, and when it is cleared it flips over as a Joker. Two kinds of Joker can come out of it. A Big Joker replaces between one and four symbols on reels 2 to 5, chosen at random, while a Little Joker only converts other Golden Cards into Jokers. Both kinds stand in for every symbol except the Scatter. Three Scatters open ten free games, and if three more Scatters land during those free games another five are added on top of whatever is left, they do not restart the count.

Would a player reading all that pick Super Ace over Golden Empire? Some do, and the usual reason given is that a ladder which resets is a rule you can watch happening, whereas a multiplier that carries through a dozen cascades is harder to follow on a phone screen.

What GameZone Asks For At The Door

All three games are played through GameZone, which carries Jili alongside other providers on the same login. Before any of the above can be spun for money the platform asks for the following:

  • A mobile phone number at registration
  • A valid government-issued ID for verification before withdrawals are allowed
  • An age of 21 or over, which is the legal age for casino play in the Philippines
  • Account verification, player protection measures and secure transactions are listed as platform features, of which the verification is the one every player goes through

The Jili titles above are listed at Jili Games on GameZone among the rest of the GameZone catalogue. Play within a limit set before the first spin, and read the 97% the review sites quote as a long-run average across millions of spins, never as a description of any one session.

I am a digital content creator from the Philippines, working mainly in video across tech, gaming and travel. My approach to tech is hands on rather than spec driven. How a handheld feels after a long session, what the battery does on the fourth day rather than the first, whether a camera holds up in a dim room instead of a lit studio. Specs are easy to read anywhere, and none of them tell you what a week with something is really like. My gaming coverage works the same way, with more time on how a game runs than on how it looked in the trailer. Travel comes into it because the gear travels with me, and the places end up in the videos.
