The Google Pixel 4a was rumoured to arrive on May 22. However, according to a brand new report, the mid-range Pixel’s release has been delayed until June.
This information comes from the German blog Caschys, which claims to have obtained internal documents from Vodafone Germany. The records now list the anticipated delivery date of the Pixel 4 as June 5.
This date is for the German market, but it’s almost certain that the rest of Europe will get the Pixel 4a on the same day. The US, on the other hand, could possibly get it earlier.
While there’s no official announcement from Google yet, it’s possible that the Pixel 4a could be introduced. I can also expect Google to launch the Pixel 4a during the Android 11 Beta Launch event on June 3.
The Pixel 4a is rumoured to have a Snapdragon 730 SoC on the helm with 6GB RAM and Android 10. It will pack a 5.81″ FullHD+ OLED display screen with 64GB and 128GB storage options.
Regarding imaging, the Pixel 4a will sport a 12.2MP primary digital camera on the back and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front, with an FOV of 84 degrees.
The smartphone will include a rear-established fingerprint scanner and a 3,080 mAh battery beneath the hood, which will cost as much as 18W via a USB-C port.
