Infinix has been teasing this one for a few weeks. April 13 is the date, 12 PM IST, exclusively on Flipkart. Pre-bookings already opened on April 8 if you want to jump early — and the pre-booking bundle is actually worth looking at: a free MagSafe-compatible speaker worth ₹3,999, a ₹3,000 bank discount on major cards, an extra year of warranty, and no-cost EMI up to 12 months.

That thing on the back
The Active Matrix Display is what Infinix keeps leading with, and it’s the most interesting angle on this phone. It’s a cluster of LEDs on the rear panel that shows notifications, charging status, battery level, even music visualisers and what the company calls “Pixel Pets.” The concept is clearly aimed at competing with the attention-grabbing rear-light systems on Nothing phones, though Infinix’s take shows actual information rather than just patterns.
Whether you find that useful or unnecessary probably settles the question of whether this phone’s for you.
Display and internals
6.78-inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED, 144Hz, 4,500 nits peak brightness. For outdoor visibility at this price, that number is hard to argue with. The chassis is aluminium, 7.36mm thick at 199g — unusually slim for a phone carrying a 6,500mAh cell.

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 is a first for Infinix, which matters if you follow their lineup. They’ve historically run MediaTek across the Note series. Software side, the phone ships with Android 16 and XOS 16 — ahead of most competition in this bracket, still pushing Android 14.
RAM goes up to 12GB, and storage is 256GB.
Cameras and battery
50MP main with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, 13MP selfie. Nothing remarkable there for the segment. The battery is 6,500mAh, with 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. Wireless charging this far under ₹30,000 is unusual — most phones skip it entirely at this price point.
IP64 for dust and splash resistance.
Price and colours
Expected between ₹25,990 and ₹27,999 for the base 8GB/256GB variant. Colours confirmed for India: Deep Ocean Blue, Mocha Brown, Solar Orange.
