Nipun Marya has a bit going. Last month the iQOO India CEO teased with “(Z)ero hints. Infinite guesses.” This weekend he posted seven lines on X under the instruction not to read the first letter of each one. So obviously everyone did. The letters spell Z-ELEVEN. Cute. And that’s the confirmation: the iQOO Z11 is coming to India.
Which is a small plot twist, honestly. A rumor last month said the Z11 Lite would be iQOO’s only Indian launch this year, everything else canceled, the iQOO 16 included even though that one goes official in China around September. Either the rumor was wrong or plans changed. Doesn’t matter much now.
The phone itself won’t match what China or Malaysia got. Gadgets360 reports the Indian Z11 runs a chip marketed as the Dimensity 7500 Turbo, with a curved-edge AMOLED up front. There’s hardware paperwork behind that too: tipster Paras Guglani pegged the Indian model number as I2514, and a prototype under that number hit Geekbench with a Dimensity 7500, 12GB of RAM, and Android 16. Compare the siblings – China’s Z11 carries the Dimensity 8500, Malaysia’s the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Three regions, three different processors, one name. One theory says the Indian unit is really a rebadged Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, expected with a 7,200mAh battery instead of the 9,020mAh the others carry.
No date yet. Earlier reporting pointed at this month, and CEOs don’t start posting acrostics when a launch is far away.
