Itel’s Latest Offerings: S25 and S25 Ultra Feature Advanced 120Hz AMOLED Screens and Enhanced Durability

itel seems to have taken some clear inspiration from the upcoming Galaxy S25 series with its newly launched itel S25 and S25 Ultra. While this isn’t the first time itel has drawn comparisons to Samsung’s designs, it stands out how much value they’re packing into these phones for the price.

    itel S25 Ultra

The itel S25 Ultra comes with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display that boasts FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and impressive 1400 nits brightness. It’s a rich-looking design for a phone in this segment.

Inside, it runs on the Unisoc T620 chipset. While it’s not a powerhouse, it should handle most day-to-day tasks without much trouble. The Ultra is also impressively slim at 6.9mm and weighs just 163g, while featuring IP64 water resistance and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The cameras are led by a 50MP rear sensor and a 32MP front shooter, with additional rear lenses that are more for show than utility. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint reader and a 5000mAh battery. Pricing starts at around $219 (roughly PKR 59,000), which feels fair for what’s on offer.

    itel S25

The itel S25 offers a slightly toned-down experience but retains many of the Ultra’s highlights. It has the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1400 nits brightness, but opts for a flat screen instead of curved edges.

The chipset hasn’t been officially confirmed, but it looks like the Unisoc T612 is powering this model. Itel is shipping the S25 with Android 14 and promises an upgrade to Android 15 later on. The IP54 rating makes it a little less durable than the Ultra, but it still offers good protection for daily use. The JBL-tuned speakers are a nice touch as well.

    Final Thoughts

itel is clearly trying to punch above its weight with these two models, especially the Ultra, which feels like a solid option for budget buyers who want some premium touches. While the design similarity to Samsung is hard to ignore, the pricing and features make the S25 and S25 Ultra worth considering for those on a budget.
