Poco’s upcoming mid-range device, the Poco X7 5G, has been making waves online recently. Leaked renders first sparked speculation that this phone could be a rebranded Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Now, a tipster on X seems to confirm it. The promo renders shared by Paras Guglani suggest a near-identical design to the Redmi Note 14 Pro, and according to his latest leak, the two devices share almost the same specs.
If these leaks hold up, the Poco X7 5G will launch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip. It’s said to offer up to 12GB of physical RAM, expandable to 24GB with virtual memory, and storage options could go as high as 512GB for the top variant.
The display might be a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and what’s called a 1.5K resolution—slightly better than 1080p. Rumors suggest a peak brightness of 3,000 nits along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, which would make it a vibrant screen.
Battery life could also be a highlight. The Poco X7 5G is rumored to pack a 5,110mAh cell, rated for 1,600 charge cycles—double the industry standard. It may also support 45W fast charging. Additionally, the device might feature a flagship-level IP68 rating and TUV Eye Care certification for its display.
The screen is said to use Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and house an under-display fingerprint sensor. For cameras, there’s reportedly a 20MP selfie shooter and a 50MP main rear camera with OIS stabilization.
If this all pans out, the Poco X7 5G could essentially be a global version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, offering the same specs but under Poco branding.
