Nothing, the design-focused smartphone brand led by former OnePlus CEO Carl Pei, is finally making its debut in the Pakistani market. The company is expected to unveil the Nothing Phone (2) next week at an official launch event in Islamabad, marking the first time the brand will be officially available in the country.

Released globally in 2023, the Nothing Phone (2) has garnered attention for its innovative design and impressive specs. Building on the success of its predecessor, the Phone (1), the Phone (2) offers significant upgrades while maintaining the distinct aesthetic that Nothing has become known for. The phone features a transparent backplate with exposed screws and a Glyph Interface—11 LED strips that serve various functions, such as notifications and camera fill lights. This design sets the device apart and ensures it is easily recognizable from a distance.

The Nothing Phone (2) boasts a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, offering a 1–120Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and maintains a Full HD+ resolution, a solid standard for high-end smartphones. Despite its exposed design, the phone maintains an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, making it both visually striking and durable.

Under the hood, the Phone (2) is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a robust processor that remains competitive even in 2025. The device is equipped with a dual-camera setup, including two 50MP sensors—one with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and the other an ultrawide lens. The front camera is a 32MP unit, designed for high-quality selfies. The phone also supports WiFi 6 and features an optical fingerprint reader under the screen.

The Phone (2) is equipped with a 4700mAh battery, capable of 15W wireless charging and 45W wired charging. According to Nothing, the phone can go from 1% to 100% in just 55 minutes with wired charging. The device will come in two color options: Dark Grey and White.

The Nothing Phone (2) runs Android 13 with Nothing OS 2, and it is upgradeable to Android 15 with Nothing OS 3. Pricing details have not yet been revealed, but it is expected to be announced during the launch event on April 22.
