The Redmi 10X has seen immense success in its first sales outing, with sales reaching CNY 100 million ($14 million) in just five minutes. Most of these sales are likely attributed to the Redmi 10X 5G, which became available for the first time today, while the Redmi 10X 4G has been available since last week.
While the most affordable Redmi 10X 5G (6/64GB) is currently out of stock (link unavailable), the 6/128GB and 8/128GB options are still available. However, other retailers still stock the 6/64GB version, priced at CNY 1,600.
Based on these numbers, it’s estimated that around 50,000 Redmi 10X units were sold, give or take a few thousand, depending on the popularity of different memory configurations.
Expect a similar rush in sales when the Redmi 10X Pro 5G becomes available on June 6. Starting at CNY 2,230, this premium version offers additional features such as an 8MP 3x telephoto camera, a dedicated 5MP macro camera, a better selfie camera, and faster charging (33W vs. 22.5W).
