The Samsung Galaxy F42 is the most recent smartphone from the Korean company that has received One UI 5.0 which is based of Android 13. The rollout only started in India as the primary market for the handset. It is notable that it’s the Galaxy F42 is a rebranded Galaxy A22 5G that also came with one UI 5.0 for Europe.

It’s unfortunate that this is the final major update on Samsung’s Galaxy F42 as it was launched in the early 2021, and has had two Android updates to date. In the future it will only receive security updates in the coming year or so.
