We’ve been hearing about the Galaxy F62 for some time now, and while there’s no word from Samsung about it yet, an IANS report citing industry sources says Samsung will launch the Galaxy F62 in Pakistan in mid-February for less than INR25,000 ($340/€285) with an Exynos chip and a 7,000 mAh battery.
A separate report claims the Galaxy F62 (SM-E625F) will pack a 6.7″ Super AMOLED display and feature a 32MP selfie shooter and a 64MP primary camera. The smartphone Samsung will be offered in Green and Blue colors and run Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.
The Galaxy F62 will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, although there could be other memory options as well that are yet to be confirmed.
Neither reports tell us what Exynos chip the F62 will have at the helm, but thanks to geekbench, we know the F62 will be powered by an Exynos 9825 SoC.
The Galaxy F62 is expected to be a rebranded Galaxy M62 (SM-M625F/DS) for some markets since its model code SM-E625F was mentioned in M62’s FCC listing.
FCC revealed the Galaxy M62 will ship with a 7,000 mAh battery and a 25W charger, and it will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port on board.
More details about the Galaxy F62 and M62 should surface soon
