From, Pakistan

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra in Pakistan, and pre-orders have officially started today at both online and offline stores. The early bird promotion will be available until February 20th, after which both models will be available nationwide.

One interesting thing to note is the absence of the Galaxy S25 Plus. Samsung Pakistan’s official website doesn’t mention it, so it’s unclear whether it will be released later or skipped entirely for this market. Meanwhile, we have all the details about the S25 and S25 Ultra, including their pricing and key upgrades.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

The Galaxy S25 Ultra, like the rest of the S25 series, focuses more on software enhancements rather than big hardware changes. The phone gets an upgrade from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 to the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, and its ultrawide camera now boasts a 50MP sensor. There are also some refinements in design and an improved anti-reflective display.

Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung has slightly altered the S25 Ultra’s design, making it sleeker with rounded corners and slimmer bezels. The phone now features a 6.9-inch 2X Super AMOLED display with the same QHD+ resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Despite the bigger screen, the device is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 8.2mm thick and weighing 218g (compared to the S24 Ultra’s 8.6mm and 233g).

Galaxy S25 Ultra

In terms of cameras, most of the setup remains unchanged. There’s a 12MP front camera, a 200MP primary lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5X zoom. The secondary telephoto remains a 10MP sensor with 3X zoom. However, the new 50MP ultrawide camera benefits from F ProVisual engine, which improves image and video optimization.

Galaxy S25 Ultra

Battery-wise, the S25 Ultra sticks to a 5000mAh capacity with 45W fast charging. A slight improvement comes with 15W Qi 2.1 wireless charging, but without magnetic alignment, it’s not a game-changer. The RAM now starts at 12GB across all models, and storage options range from 256GB to 1TB in Pakistan. The base model is priced at Rs 439,999.

Samsung Galaxy S25

The standard Galaxy S25 also carries forward much of the S24’s hardware but comes in a slimmer 7.2mm body. It retains the same 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Samsung has introduced new software features like Best Face for selfies and the ProVisual AI Engine, but the hardware remains the same. The phone still has a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP 3X telephoto, and a 12MP front camera. However, thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, Samsung promises better shutter speeds, color accuracy, and improved skin tones in photos.

All three S25 models now feature WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. Samsung has also integrated AI deeply into One UI 7 on top of Android 15, with features like Now Briefs, Ask Gemini, and Circle to Search.

The Galaxy S25 packs a 4000mAh battery with 25W charging, which might feel a bit underwhelming compared to other flagship devices. On the bright side, all phones in the S25 series come with seven years of OS and security updates, ensuring software support until 2032. The base model now comes with 12GB RAM (instead of 8GB) but starts at just 128GB storage. The price for the S25 in Pakistan is set at Rs 314,999.

Pre-orders for both the S25 and S25 Ultra are live, with select online and offline retailers listed on Samsung Pakistan’s website. The pre-order window closes on February 20th, so if you’re planning to get one, now’s the time to book your device.
